CNPC has been operating in Singapore since 2000. Currently, its main assets in the country include: Singapore Petroleum Company Limited (SPC), Universal Terminal, and SPC service stations and supporting refined oil distribution terminals. CNPC owns the third largest retail network of service stations in Singapore, and is also a major supplier of bunker fuel and jet fuel in the country, providing jet fuel for more than 40 airlines at airports in Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia and China’s Taiwan region .The Asian operation hub, one of CNPC’s international operation hubs, is located in Singapore.

Singapore Petroleum Company Limited (SPC)
Founded in 1969, SPC has interests in oil and gas exploration and production, refining, terminals and distribution, marketing and trading of crude and refined petroleum products. In October 2009, CNPC acquired SPC. Currently, SPC operates five upstream development and production blocks in three countries. SPC owns stakes in Singapore Refining Company (SRC).
Universal Terminal
Located in Jurong Island, Singapore, Universal Terminal is the largest independent commercial oil storage terminal in Southeast Asia. It was initially constructed in January 2006 and became operational in January 2008. This 233m 3 terminal is mainly for storing fuel oil, gasoline, diesel and aviation fuel, etc. Universal Terminal has a total of 15 jetties, including two for VLCCs. Besides the core business of oil product storage, it also provides blending and in-tank transfer services.
