Data Acquisition

CNPC offers seismic data acquisition operations and services at difficult surface landforms such as complex mountains, jungles, deserts, loess tableland, swamp, lakes, tidal and shallow water regions, and deep seas.

We provide 2D, 3D, high-resolution, 3D VSP, 4D, multi-wave and multi-component seismic acquisitions.

Data Processing

Supported by three major processing centers in the Middle East, South America and Southeast Asia, as well as 13 processing sub-centers in China, Iran, Pakistan, Nigeria, Sudan, and the United States, CNPC is capable of processing 300,000 kilometers of conventional 2D, 200,000 square kilometers of conventional 3D, every year.

Data Interpretation

With the GRI station interpretation system with independent intellectual property rights, as well as Landmark, Geoquest, GEOFRAME, JASON, and VR (Virtual Reality) advanced seismic data interpretation software.

We offer 2D and 3D seismic data and non-seismic data interpretation and comprehensive study of deserts, plains, mountains, swamps and seas. These include basin modeling, balanced section study, forward and reverse modeling, interactive interpretation of seismic data, processing and analysis of logging data, seismic inversion and lithologic prediction, oil reservoir description, 3-D visualization, and integrated VR interpretation.
