CNPC has been present in Azerbaijan since 2002. Currently, we have oil and gas assets and provide oilfield services in the country.

Kursenge & Karabagli

Located in the Kura Basin, K&K Oilfield has been developed for almost 60 years since 1960. In 2002, CNPC entered into a product sharing contract on the K&K Oilfield with SOCAR. The contracted area is composed of two oilfields: Kursenge and Karabagli. Currently, CNPC is the operator of the K&K Oilfield.
