The CPOE9 jack-up drilling platform is a triangular hull in structure, the hull type adopts L-780 with length of 54.86m (180 feet), width of 53.34m (175 feet) and depth of 7.62m (25 feet). Its leg is 122 meters in length. This jack-up platform can realize maximum working water depth 300 feet (91.4m) and maximum drilling depth 7000m.

CNPC's Baoji Oilfield Machinery Co., Ltd (BOMCO) provides the complete drilling system equipment for the platform.
