Desulfurizing FCC regenerator flue gas to reduce emissions
At Dalian West Pacific Petrochemical Company Ltd (WEPEC), the long-term and stable operation of the FCC regenerator flue gas desulfurization facilities is the key to pollution and emission control. In 2012, the comprehensive efficiency of the desulfurization facility reached 76%, resulting in SO2 emission reduction of nearly 3,000 tons. WEPEC also installed a pollutant online monitoring device and networked it with the online monitoring database of the local environmental protection authorities to realize real-time monitoring and timely reporting.
